PapattesBox was born from an unconditional love for animals and the desire to create moments of shared joy between humans and four-legged companions.
At the origin of this project: Simba , a curious and tender cat, and Leo , a loyal and playful dog, who inspire our adventure every day.

A personal story

I welcomed Simba into my home in October 2019. Having never lived with a cat before, my heart was set on dogs, which I found more demonstrative and affectionate. My initial wish was to adopt a dog, but my husband objected, believing that a dog required too much daily commitment.

Finally, I adopted my first kitten: Simba , a Ragdoll of exceptional gentleness and calmness . During our first visit to the vet—who himself owned a Ragdoll—his behavior surprised even the professionals. Thanks to Simba, I discovered the feline world and understood why so many people love cats despite their independent nature. From the very first strokes, it became difficult to stop.

Over time, I noticed that Simba got bored when he was left alone at home. It seemed essential to find him a companion. I contacted his breeder, but they had closed down. While browsing ads for a new kitten, I was drawn to puppies. The idea of ​​a small dog like a Chihuahua or a Yorkshire Terrier began to take shape.

After discussion, my husband agreed to the idea of ​​a dog, on the condition that he could choose the breed himself. And so, in February 2025 , Leo , a Belgian Malinois , joined our family.

The meeting between Simba and Leo was delicate. Simba, reserved and calm, didn't easily accept the arrival of this lively and playful new companion. Leo, still a puppy, was used to noisy and physical games with his brothers and sisters. His way of playing seemed rough compared to Simba's calm temperament. Today, Leo is seven months old and weighs over 30 kg. His enthusiasm for Simba hasn't waned, but Simba remains wary. He has only just learned to defend himself a little.

This cohabitation sometimes resembles that of several children in the same family: you have to learn to manage the differences in character and to build harmony.

An idea born from the heart

While chatting with a friend who is passionate about cats, the idea came naturally:
